The 9th edition of the International Warsaw Invention Show ”IWIS 2015”. was held on October 12-14, 2015. This event is organized annually by the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers, in cooperation with the Polish Patent Office and Warsaw University of Technology.

The Institute was awarded with gold medal with mention for the project entitled: "Forecasting of residual life of elements in creep service with use of artificial intelligence methods".

The project was submitted jointly with the Silesian University of Technology: Marek Sroka, Dr. Eng., Agata Śliwa,  Dr.; representatives of the Institute coordinating the project: Janusz Dobrzański, Dr. Hab. Eng., Prof. at the Institute and Adam Zieliński, Dr. Eng.
