Instytut Metalurgii Żelaza received a diploma of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for the project entitled “Designing life of the components operating in creep conditions with use of artificial intelligence methods”. The concerned project has already been awarded with gold medal with mention during the International Warsaw Invention Show - „IWIS 2015”.

The project was submitted jointly with Politechnika Śląska (Silesian University of Technology): Marek Sroka, Dr. Eng;  Agata Śliwa, Dr.; on the part of the Institute the project was coordinated by: Janusz Dobrzański, Dr. Hab. Eng., Prof. at the Institute and Adam Zieliński Dr. Eng.
