In 2004 the Institute Implemented Management System compliant with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard: "General requirements concerning competencies of research and calibration laboratories", covering two Research Groups:

• Research Group: Analytical Chemistry
• Research Group: Investigations of Properties and Structure of Materials        

The System was confirmed by the Polish Centre for Accreditation with accreditation certificate PCA no. AB 554 dated 13.12.2004, which is updated on regular basis, and the latest update is valid till 12.12.2024. Scope of accreditation – Polish Centre for Accreditation

Additionally, the Research Group: Analytical Chemistry possesses 1st and 2nd grade certificate of General Electric Aircraft Engines no T3895 dated 11.08.2004, the update of which is valid till  31.12.2022.

Research Group: Materials for Power Engineering possesses a Laboratory Approval Certificate (Świadectwo Uznania Laboratorium) issued by the Office of Technical Inspection (Urząd Dozoru Technicznego), no LBU – 022/07-23 dated 23.01.2023. The certificate is valid till 19.12.2023.
