Multi-sample machines for creep testing, manufactured by IMZ, facilitate conducting tests at temperature ranging from 550oC to 900o C at eight constant levels of test temperature and ten fixed load levels for each of them. Tests are conducted without elongation measurement during test at load of max. 6 kN. Tests are conducted at constant temperature with accuracy of ≤ ±0.7oC, irrespective of the temperature of the test. For each of eight constant levels of test temperature: 550, 575, 600, 625, 650, 675, 700 and 750oC exercised in eight heating chambers, simultaneous execution of 100 creep tests in 10 loading sets for one heating chamber operating at fixed temperature of test. In each loading system, 10 creep tests are executed at fixed temperature and at fixed load volume. Each of loading systems and long term annealing systems is preheated to reach the temperature set in three-zone pipe reheating furnace.
Moreover, each of multi-sample machines for creep tests facilitates additionally long-term simultaneous annealing of up to 40 samples for each of eight levels of test temperatures: 550, 575, 600, 625, 650, 675, 700 and 750oC with accuracy of ±1oC on the length of sample during testing. In each set for long term annealing, up to 15 tests are conducted at constant temperature in two sets for each of eight chambers operating at fixed predetermined testing temperature.
Control and on-line measurement of temperature in heating chambers are realized by means of 24 sheathed thermo-couples S type, 1st class for each of them.
Periodically, the actual temperature for each sample of each loading system of each heating chamber is checked and recorded by means of test loading system operating under SPP .
Volume of load of each of loading systems is preset at special testing stand, using dynamometer.
Supervision over tests, control of the predetermined temperature, recording, archiving and processing of data is realized under Creep Test System (SPP).
