Łukasiewicz – Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy was awarded in the SCIENCE category of the 11th edition of the “Marka-Śląskie” Contest, which is co-financed by the Silesian Province. Managing Director Adam Zieliński received the “Marka-Śląskie” award during the 26th Gala of the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Gliwice on 17 October 2020.

Our contribution to promoting the region in the country and abroad through science was noticed by the Silesian Province Marshal Jakub Chełstowski, the President of the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Gliwice Wiktor Pawlik and media representatives Karol Wlazło – President of Polskapress Sp. z o.o. Silesian Press Division, publisher of the “Dziennik Zachodni” newspaper, Piotr Ornowski, President of the Management Board, Editor-in-Chief of “Radio Katowice” Spółka Akcyjna, and Maciej Wojciechowski, Director – Editor-in-Chief of TVP3 Katowice, as well as the rest of the Awards Committee Members.
